DR evaluator
DR evaluator optimizes the capacity of solar and energy storage that collocate with customers' electrical load to reduce energy cost. It models realistic PV and battery characteristics and deterioration of device capacity over time, as well as control performance of DER management system. DR evaluator generates a report that shows the benefits of various solar and storage sizes, and guides DER planners to find the best solutions when building solar plus storage projects.
DR epic®
DR epic® products are emerging to be one of the industry’s first integrated distributed energy system (DES) solutions on the market. Among them, DR evaluator is a planning tool to size PV and battery storage for a commercial or industrial load to achieve the best return of investment; DR processor is an ARM based controller that communicates with and coordinates the DES devices’ operations; DR ioc (integrated operation and control) software provides the management and optimization tool for the DES; and finally, DR cloud, a cloud-based DES aggregation platform, connects the DES’ to the power system control center or the wholesale market to contribute to the reliable operation of the power grid. DR epic® products have entered various deployment stages in several solar plus energy storage plus smart EV charging projects.
DR intelligent operation and control (ioc)
DR ioc is a Linux-based real-time control software that manages the distributed energy resources in a system, such as distributed solar, energy storage, smart electrical vehicle charging, smart home appliances, and other IoT enabled devices. DR ioc minimizes the energy cost of the distributed energy system by optimally coordinating the operations of the DERs. DR ioc can also connect to the power system control center or an aggregation platform, such as DR cloud, to participate in energy and ancillary service transactions in the power market.
Smart IoT devices and management platform
This product line includes IoT modules that connect space heating and air-conditioning devices to load management systems and a series of intelligent thermal storage products for air disinfection and space heating. These IoT enabled devices can be managed through EnerMod's Smart Home platform, which provides a powerful and convenient asset management tool for companies providing commercial cooling and heating services.
