ABOUT US

Who We Are

Founded by a group of engineers from Austin, TX, in 2015, EnerMod has been nourished by the innovative culture of the fastest growing high-tech hub of the United States. Working together with Tsinghua University’s Sichuan Energy Internet Research Institute, the company opened a joint office in Chengdu, China in 2018. EnerMod started its business with building advanced computer models for utility companies to optimize power system operations and perform value analyses of renewable and distributed energy resources (DERs).

Overtime, its focus evolves into DER planning and management technologies, adapting internet and modern computation techniques into the planning, operation, and control of DERs, such as solar panels, electrical or thermal storage, smart EV chargers and smart load management, as well as integrating DERs with market operations and controls of the bulk power system.

EnerMod’s products are empowered by our vision of the future and enthusiasm in creating technologies to build a more livable, enjoyable, and sustainable world.
