Electrical Engineer
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer who can work with both our product team and clients to understand clients’ needs and translate them into product and project requirements and design specifications. The Electrical Engineer will also implement and commissioning the hardware and software products of EnerMod with on-site distributed resources such as battery energy storage systems, solar panels and EV chargers.
- Creates Single & Three Line, Schematic Diagrams and customer approval documents as needed.
- Contributes in creating and maintaining Quality Assurance Procedures and work instructions related to Electrical Engineering.
- Perform various engineering tasks involving such functions as system configuration, design, development, test, in-house installation, while working from instructions, drawings, proposals, specifications, and other pertinent information.
- Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
- Actively participate in customer related product issues and provide solutions to the highest levels of customer service. Act as principal investigator investigating problems, developing solutions and preparing related recommendations and reports.
- Prepare test plans and make arrangement for testing of existing products.
- Participate in the investigation of technical problems and the establishment of procedures and corrective actions to avoid recurrences.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields and 3 to 5 years of work experience. Or Master’s degree in the above fields with 1 year of work experience.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for EnerMod in the US.
- Working knowledge of ANSI/IEEE/NEMA Standards and UL/CSA certification.
- Knowledgeable about power converters control and operation for solar and storage applications.
- Experience with testing and commissioning of electrical equipment.
- Work well in project-oriented teams and have good project management skills.
- Good technical writing skills.
- Good communication & presentation skills.
Software Engineer
EnerMod is seeking a Software Engineer who will be focusing on developing software for energy system applications, such as battery energy storage system management and control, demand response, electrical vehicle charging control, etc.
- Working with customers on developing software specifications and function design
- Software coding, testing, debugging and delivery
- Maintenance of existing software, including bug fixes and documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other related fields and 3 years of work experience. Or Master’s degree in the above fields with 1 year of work experience.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for EnerMod in the US.
- Strong coding skills, preferably in Python/C++/C
- Excellent algorithm development skills to tackle challenging problems
- System level understanding and working experience of micro services architecture
- Ability to independently learn new technologies, prototype, and design software solutions
- Deep knowledge of networking and operating systems
- Strong spoken and written communication skills
Marketing Director
EnerMod is seeking a marketing director who have a good understanding of the electric power industry and is interested in pushing the adoption of new technologies for a more sustainable energy future.
- End-to-end ownership of marketing strategy and tactical execution for EnerMod products and services.
- Develop a compelling narrative and value proposition for EnerMod products and services. Assess market needs to evaluate market-product fit, define target market segments and account profiles; enumerate target personas and value propositions for each market segment
- Partner with the EnerMod technology development teams to design and launch campaigns that create measurable pipeline and impact brand awareness with key enterprise buyers.
- Build & nurture relationships with key EnerMod customers
- Work closely with the industry experts to ensure effective thought leadership in the market; Keep EnerMod technical team up to date with market trends and competition
- Be an integral part of the EnerMod management team, and broader product teams – playing an integral part of decision making around product strategy, product direction, and product partnerships
- Build and grow a team of marketing talents
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Science, System Engineering or other related fields and 8 years of work experience. Or Master’s degree in the above fields with 5 year of work experience
- 3 years of experience creating and executing marketing plans in the electric energy technology field
- Master’s in marketing or an MBA
- Good understanding of the electric power industry in the US
- Good understanding of computing and internet technologies
- Strong team leadership experience
- Strong communication skills and enjoy making and maintaining connections with other brands, influencers, and celebrities
